MasterClass Workouts

Yes, it's been quite a long minute. A really long one.  So I was thinking we could, should, would pick it up where we left off at the first of the year, before the nightmare fell upon us.  It's been a minute or more and a new day is upon us. We all know what to do and how to do it now.  So here's to hooking up virtually with an expanded #PilatesSistersSquad workout - - - virtually connected.

Blossom, Kathy, Chris, and George

Blossom announced it was KSG week and shared memories, exercises, videos and virtual sessions all week in honor of her teacher/mentor, Kathy Stanford Grant.  I booked two early afternoon sessions, on Monday and Wednesday with her; Chris Robinson was already booked on my calendar for Friday on the Reformer. The shit hit the fan on Wednesday.Read more

Morning Thoughts After a Day with Brooke and Saul

I felt like a little kid in a candy shop with so much excitement after booking these two sessions on the same day with two notable 2ndGenMasters in two different time zones.

Wunda Semi with Brett and Jasmine

She was one of the first people to jump in and join me during the first two months of the pandemic as we all tried to find our footing and balance using virtual sessions with each other and with our clients.

This is the third time I have uttered these words, "the only benefit of the #Covid19 lockdown is the opportunity to be led by masterful teachers... virtually."Read more

Virtual Sessions Changed Everything

Four weeks into the lockdown and every teacher I know is using some sort of virtual training session that has completely altered our way of life, teaching and connection.  While the jury is still out on whether we keep it up for regular client sessions, I think it is clear to the lion share of us, that this medium of connection offers a whole other world of "touch" that will not be eliminated easily.  I am planning to maintaining my Zoom subscription when the lockdown is over!

Zoom PilatesSisters Sessions

Sunday is my day to be creative with myself. Today was also the day the Pilates Sisters Squad was scheduled for our third #2ndGenMasterTeacher session with Brett Howard.  April was being setup for Cynthia Shipley and May was set for Cary Regan.  Alas, #CancelEverthing and #Covid19 has changed a lot.
